Cyber Beacon IV Conference

“Charting a Course in and Beyond Cyberspace”

On September 27-28, 2017, the National Defense University Foundation is supporting the College of Information and Cyberspace (CIC) in coordinating the fourth annual Cyber Beacon Conference at the National Defense University. The Cyber Beacon Conference aims to facilitate discussion on improving national security in cyberspace. Government leaders, military, and private sector personnel will be attending the conference to discuss the current and emerging issues within the cyberspace and cyber warfare realm. This event is by invitation only.

  • Risk & Resiliency: How do we more rapidly deploy resilient systems (e.g., AI, Cloud, IoT/IoE) to meet challenges presented by increasingly vulnerable critical infrastructures?

  • Strategic Innovation: How do we avoid strategic surprise in cyberspace?
  • Educating Strategic Cyber Leaders: What best practices in strategic leader education should be embraced, and what new approaches are worth piloting?
  • Formulating for Action: Identifying Threats and Opportunities (Executive Session)
